Well its about time i posted a screen shot and the war in the med is getting very bloody...

Axis take out greece to gain port shipping bonus and then shift a large force to northern africa...

Decision is made to attack RN in the eastern med early before the huge number of RAF fighters (12) with about 4 in the middle east can enforce an effective CAP to prevent luftwaffe bombers from engaging capital ships...

Everything from the regia marina as well as 4 tac's from the luftwaffe are thrown in...it would appear the decision to upgrade BB armor early on the game has paid off tremendously [:D]

Axis evasion = 16
Allies evasion = 8 (attacked by another unit)

And the results...decisive victory to the axis...

Well i did apologise to my opponent for this turn...bad luck for the allies...

Noticing that allied fighters are still sitting on range one and that there is only one back up tranny in the red sea axis forces in the eastern med execute a pincher operation to cut off cairo from britain...

Entire luftwaffe is then sent in for A2A combat with better results than i could have expected...

Bad luck for the allies...with damaged fighters and tac destroyed

Sub hunting in the Atlantic, and Cairo reinforced.

War of attrition continues in the middle east with axis forces continuing to send a barrage of artillery shells into Cairo...fight is fairly even apart from the fact that british forces are again isolated resulting in damaged units being destroyed...

Reinforcements are quickly shipped in (barbarossa has not begun yet)...and it would appear that cairo will fall next turn and the rest of the middle east wont be too far behind [8D]



Iraq also turfed out the mufti this turn to align with hitler...

Subs are having a hard time in the atlantic with one damaged and another sunk...

Japanese continue to stock weapons...

Another sub sunk in the Atlantic, german strat bomber damaged in Norway.
Cairo evacuated, Middle East is now axis.
