V 1.82 errors

I haven't played for a while so I updated my 1.71 version to 1.82 this morning. I was in the off-season (I had played 1 season previously).
Alll was fine as I went through the draft, free agency, and some trades. I then chose to run spring training and got a "division by zero" error. The game closed down and I went back in.
When I returned it told me it was ready to start the season so I went to modify the lineup. I couldn't get into it. I got "unexpected error 11".
I can get into everything but "modify roster and lineups". When I try it again I get another division by zero error. It also sits at "Loading. Please wait". If I click something else it will go there. The only thing I can't do is "modify roster and lineups". I thought I'd try and sim a game knowing that my lineup wouldn't work and hopefully the game would announce that and take me to the page to fix my lineup. It does tell me I need to fix my lineup and will take me there. However, I get another "unexpected error 11".
It seems like there is no way out of this mess. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.
