TF ship still shows piership repair

I have assigned damaged AV curtis to escort tf for move to west coast repairs. Upon checking the view ships information screen (repairing ships) it still shows the AV curtis in the tf but in pierside repair. I removed from pierside, appropriate wait in days (ungreyed) then assigned to tf with the other ships.
Ok went back in saves and checked the ship was selected directly from pierside repair because it was an escort tf it allowed me to do that.
