Has anyone considered building more Light Industry? There is such a surplus of resources that one could easily build a couple hundred LI for extra supply late in the war. A LI built in Dec 41 will pay for itself in Aug 44. Thoughts?
Please, please, please don't let this be a triple post.

I wouldn't. The reason is that although the Empire will have extra resources after capturing the SRA, you don't want to expand LI in the Home Islands. Reason is that you are already going to be busy getting resources to Honshu, why make the deficit larger? If you're going to expand, you may as well spend that on HI, which is more productive.
The place to expand LI I suppose would be where resources will probably end up lying around unused, the SRA; but excess after August 1944 isn't going to do much for you out there.
It's just too long of a payback, I would leave it alone.
The Resource Flow thread is awesome, and a must read BTW on this, and one conclusion from that thread: Don't bother expanding LI, or repairing resources. Repairing refineries is probably not advisable. Repair OIL for sure, that is most critical.

Why? Because the developer responsible for adding LI didn't think of it. [:)]
