Still wondering about FOW and red lines showing air attack direction or origination. I have no detection of canton. IIRC in YH prerelease AAR you could only see a short distance of the direction the attack was coming from, not the actual base.

obviously if too far away cannot see origination.

Questions

1) is this WAD?

2) Does this change during a PBEM game?

The red line goes in direction of launching base, but it can fall short of or even go pass the originating base of attack.

The line is drawn in full if FOW is off or the launch base has a DL larger than 5.
Otherwise, it has a variable length based on the degree of detection of the launch base.

As far as type of game, it does not matter.
To check the DL, put the mouse over the launch base. Do forget that the base can get its DL increased during the turn.
