lack of unload bug, both pre and post patch

Post by Walloc »

At Prince Rupert, Canada there is a TF 104 containing a dutch xAP Poelau Laut.
According to the TF screen the ship is empthy, but if u disband the TF and form a new TF. Then when u transfere the Poelau Laut into the new TF screen it says it has loaded 144 troops.
Once u made the new TF it again shows nothing loaded and u cant unload. Neither can you load any thing new onto the ship so the "144" is obviously blocking that.
The unit it unloaded into Prince Rupert is 802 EAB showing up in town as 802 EAB/5 so its "missing" some thing.

Save attached.

Kind regards,

Rasmus

Do you have a save just before the unloading into Prince Rupert started? Need it badly.

Ok here is a save from 2 turns earlier. Seems there is an issue alrdy there. It hasnt unloaded yet, but as u will notice. On the TF screen the ship says it hasnt loaded any thing, but pressing the ship for details u can go into the fragment and see it has 2 mot support. So it might alrdy go wrong at loading. Let me know if u need a file even earlier aka pre loading if i have it.

The ship is in TF 125 just S of Juneau this at this point.

Kind regards,

Rasmus

P.S Don, could u look at the 2nd last post(at leased at the time of writing this) in tm.asp?m=1637340&mpage=58
too please. I know u not in the land team but some i got a feeling the 2 issues might be linked. Fragments/ships included in both cases.

Out of time for today. Please go ahead and post that earlier save, just in case. Will get back to it when I can.

Hi Don,

Attaching 2 more files in 2 posts. ***004.zip is from the 13rd. Looks like its just loaded last turn. Cant see any thing out of the ordinary tho. Some thing must have happened between file 004 from the 13rd and 009 on the 16. I cant recall what if i did any thing out of the ordinary.
File 003 is pre loading on the 10th.

1 thing do stand out. These file all from pre patch and the ship are crossloading mot sup as far as i can see in file 004. In file 009, the fragment that is left on the ship. Which u can see via ship detail is mot sup. Reading from the patch files some bug was corrected exactly about crossloading mot sup. Could it possibly be linked to that?
Since the load toke place pre patch(i assume the fix is done in the loading part of the code) it naturally still there after the patch and cant per that be /wouldnt be fixed.
Well its a thot.

Kind Regards,

Rasmus

Sorry, it looks like the last two saves are from much too early. #3 from 12/7/41 and #4 from 12/8/41. Something is most definitely wrong here, but can't trace it (yet). Do you have saves from early March, 1942 when the transport is still properly loaded with the land unit??

OK, I've found and fixed this one. Very complex little bug - I'd be proud of myself for finding it if I wasn't the one that programmed it in.
