A Patch question

Hi- Is the Beta v1083c considered the patch that was promised in about 30 days after AE's release? Or, will there be a patch per se?

I think the beta is the stalking horse of the 30 day patch and suspect the quiet from the developers at the moment is due to their tinkering with the beta in order to get the PATCH out soon,
