Assault Value formula

How can you calculate the Assault Value (AV) of an LCU?

Reason I'm asking: I'm building a custom DB application to use as a planning/decision making tool. Since I can't find back the AV value in the csv file extracts, I assume that the value is derived from existing data (as was already the case in Pacific War). Having the correct in-game AV values available in the tool would help a lot with improving the planning & decision making process.

Back in the old PacWar days, I remember being able to reconstruct the formula myself by taking an educated guess at its form and then solving a number of equations (one per LCU) to find the unknown variables. However, for WitP/AE it seems that many more factors are involved, making this approach a bit time-consuming...

So, I'd appreciate any help with this.

Thanks,

Moss

If you are tlking base AV its all Squad/AFV and Cbt Engr squads

If its adjusted AV we dont release that formula - nice try though Image[:D]

Obviously you didn't see the look of sheer innocence on my face while I was writing this post [;)].

But seriously: thanks for the info. Now that I know the base AV formula, it's clear that it gives you very little information on a unit's real combat strenght [&:]. Would have been handy to have a more accurate/more official one-number estimate of LCU strenght.
But at least, I'll be able to reconcile the in-game base AV values with what's in the data extracts...

So, thanks again!
Cheers,

Moss
