Nuts and bolts, please.

Hi-Scen.6, Allies, 1/14/42. I have Prince of Wales docked at Columbo. She is due for upgrade in 1/42. She has no damage of any kind-zeros across the board.
Now for the nuts and bolts.Please ,someone, tell me how to get her into upgrade. Yes, base is toggled to allow upgrades for this list.
I looked at manual, but it doesn't say HOW to do this.
Please, the a,b,c.. of it.

Disband her in port and run the turn. She'll show up with damage next turn and be upgraded. Oh and make sure you have her upgrade set to on.
