Hi-Allies, scen.6, 1/18/42. I have 2 units in strategic RR mode movement, going one each to SFO & San Diego. One is an Eng. unit, the other INF.

Niether shows up in the ground reinforcement tab. I thought they would.

They seem to be moving 4 hexes/day. Is this about right? Is there a manual citation anyone can give me? When I looked in the manual there was something about a 60 for RR transport, but I don't understand it.

If one unit shows 1700 miles to destination am I to understand that will take -1700/40=42.5 hexes? The question then becomes at what rate per day they travel, in hexes or miles, to arrive at # of days to destination.
Is this correct? Where do I find the rate?

Mine always show up on the map, but they travel more than 4 hexes a day. Takes a couple days to get to SF.
