Downloaded the game initially and had the physical copy sent to me, have had no problems with the downloaded game. But went to install the game from the disc for the up-coming patch and got this error message?

First step is to try this with any anti-virus/security software turned off. If it still does that, you may have been unlucky enough to get a "bad burn" which is very rare but does happen. In that case, we'll ship you a replacement CD.

Confirmed with Michael that Dive's issue is NOT an in game issue but an apparent disk check sum issue while installing.

Hi Guys... have turned off defender and AVG but I am still getting that error message. Have tried WitP and 2x other games; and they will all install OK with no error message.

Try copying the CD to a temp directory on your hard drive first, and then try installing from that directory on the HD.

This does sometimes work, if the installer is not specifically tied to a CD drive.

You can delete the temp directory afterwards.

Yea, I think you have a damaged CD.
I suppose you have tried to read the files from the CD on another PC if you access to one.

Yes I tried Mrs Divepac's Sony Laptop early-on, same result.
