This is weird the Uss Colorado slowly sails for Sydney after bravely defending Noumea to have some damage repaired. Next turn I get a message that the Warspite is sunk. Checking my ships the Colorado is missing while the Warspite has been siiting in Seattle since dec 7th

Yeah. FOW. fun. i'm sure Nimitz would have been real happy if his subordinates kept telling him his own ships were sunk when they were stuck in port 2000 miles away and had been for months!
FOW for enemy losses is ok and adds greatly to the games realism. Some confusion/reduction in reported losses for friendly forces is reasonable (especially if i'm playing as the leader of a totalitarian regime whose subordinates are scared to tell me the truth). But some of this 'friendly FOW' is a bit ridiculous.

I've heard repeated rummors of this issue but my repeated requests for a save have gone unanswered.

It's easier to complain than to help. You should know that by now, Don.

try sending a personal message to admiral (who made the initial post). I'm back to re-entering turn 1, so no FOW issues yet!!
BTW, whats a 'rummor'?? [:)]

Umm - rummor. Slang for more rum. Or quick typing for rummor.

Probably means rumour. Although Southerners and Texans have our own way of communicating at times [:)]

It's Tokyo Rose!!! I knew it!!!!! I had to lose Rabaul, but by jacks I did hear her![&o][&o][&o] I don't have a single complaint about the game. despite a couple little bugs that I am watching; I am immersed as well as ever I was in the old board game; without the unspeakable logistics tracking. The game's imperfections are far less than mine as player. I'd hate to say out loud that perhaps it was underpriced, but I APPRECIATE somebody working for a living providing me the means to explore & play my all-time favorite 'war'. Now if Gubi would just send me a turn..............[:)][:)][>:]
