I have forgotten to move units during the deployment phase, which causes you to lose a turn in the battle. I've played PG too much. In Pg I placed all of my units out then hit the end deployment button. In OB you can put your recon vehicle out and move around then decide what units are good for at least the first couple of turns of the battle. Which, most of the time, weighs heavily on the outcome of the battle.

The first time I filled the 7 hexes I didn't know what to do with the remainder of units. Moving a unit away to empty the hex seemed like a simple solution but just didn't enter my thoughts.
