It seems when I left click on them many times they build bunkers when I dont want them to, other times I can move them. The same problem blowing or building bridges. What am I doing wrong?

Hello,
its sounds like you simply press the mouse button for too long and the game interprets two clicks, thus executing the action.

I can confirm there is a problem here.
I posted right after the game came out that using the centering option doesn't work correctly because the game jumps the unit to the cursor location.
Please don't ignore this issue (again!).

I too am having this difficulty. The game, through the mouse, is clicking too quickly. I am using a logitech 400 or 410 (very basic) with the latest drivers and this is the only game engine that this occurs in.

I have the same problem as well when I click on my engineers/pioniers. If there was a prompt asking you if you want to build a bunker then that might alleviate some of this problem.

That would add un-neccessary clicks for a stream-lined interface. However, since one should almost never build bunkers anyhow in a campaign, I guess it's not a big deal to add it.

For me the main problem is that it activates something you do not want. A prompt would save the resources and keep you from building lines of defense along your way, but there would still be the annoying question when you wanted nothing but selecting your unit.

I've posted about this in the wishlist thread...it is very annoying...it might be annoying to have a popup, but it would be far less annoying than having your engineers build useless defences. I restarted a game 3 times last night because of this issue alone...now I save the game everytime prior to selecting engineers!
It would be annoying to have a popup, so I would rather you got to the route of the issue...too many people seem to be having this issue for it to be machine specific.
By the way, I have a Razer Diamondback and (for some strange reason) and using Microsoft HID Compliant Mouse drivers v5.1.2600.0. I will try the Razer drivers tonight (though I thought I already had them installed) and let you know.
As I pointed out in the Wishlist thread though, I can click on a shortcut on my desktop and it activates the shortcut...it doesn't load the program...so the delay setting on my mouse double click is not the issue.
I also pointed out that the same things happens very often with me with the right click to open a unit details page...the dialog seems to close (around 50% of the time) immediately as if I double right clicked...though I didn't.

Do i get it right that instead of selecting the next unit and centering it, you experience it centers where your cursor is ?
I looked at it and i cannot reproduce this here.

Firstly, this is not consistantly able to be reproduced. That said, when centering is turned on-
When I click on a destination for a selected unit it double jumps both its action points. First to where I intended; second to where the cursor ended up after the map moved to center on the first jump. Clicking undo moves the unit back to the first point.
HTH.
