When saving a game with the same name there is no warning.

I was happy it didn't have this, since I am always over-writing my last saved files on purpose, and it was less clicks I'd have to do.  But I can see how some people may have an issue with it.

I agree. I do the same and purposely overwrite saves. However, a lot of people expect this feature and it is a standard across software.

If a lot of players want to have confirm dialogs we can add some, of course.

For myself i hate software/games where i have always to confirm useless dialogs.
e.g. "Do you really want to leave this program?" -> No, i have clicked on the "Quit" button just for fun... ;-)

How about adding optional confirmation dialogs? If anyone prefer to "play it safe" they can turn it on in the options, if someone prefer less clicks they can turn it off. Both sides are happy and the work involved to code it should not be huge.

Now we're getting some where. Good idea. I hate confirmations too, I just brought it up because so much software has it as the norm.

LOL! I feel the same way with confirmations. It's the same when I do a backup to my external hard drive and it asks if I want to backup ALL my files. I click "Yes" and go do some chores. I come back a bit later and it had stopped right after I left, asking me if I want to backup some stupid file?! What part of YES did it not get?! [;)]
