Operational damage to ships at sea at full speed

From the manual:
The chances of incurring System Damage during normal movement (representing normal wear and tear on the ships) five times higher at Full Speed then at Cruise Speed. There is also a very slight chance of major damage due to accident or marine hazard.

Unlike the Witp manual the paragraph before this one doesnt state that u take approx one damage in 90 hexes at cruise speed. So 1 in about 16-17 hexes at full speed.

First since the quoted part from the AE manual loooks very similar to the witp manual i have a question. Has the 1 in 90 hexes at cruise speed been changed in AE?

I ask cuz i did some tests and i have only noted this post 1084.

1 TF with 11 ships traveling 14 hexes =154 hexes moved at full speed.
If the formular is suppose too be the same as in witp some thing is off.
154 hexes with 1 per approx 16 hexes should leave the TF with on average around 10 damaged taken.
Did the above example 10 times over.
Never did i see below 30 damage and usually it was in the 60ies. So around 5 times more than witp. Too booth hexes are only 2/3 in AE so if the formular had been changed to take that into acoount its more like 8 times higher.
Is this intended?

If not i think the formular/code needs to be looked at.

Kind regards,

Rasmus
