Question about supply re-supply

Post by jjdenver »

Hi,

I'm playing the 2nd scenario as Germany. It seems that I can't keep my units in supply very well. For example I have an artillery unit just north of the western bridge (i.e. it has crossed the river) and it isn't able to get more fuel supply. Fuel supply is at zero but I can't resupply him.

This is happening to a lot of my units to the point where most of my army is immobile. How can units be re-supplied?

Does air need to go to an airfield to resupply?

Also some units (AT and arty) look like they are towed - i.e. when they move it looks like a wagon pulled by horses. Does this mean they cannot move and attack after move?

Thx

1. You have to have enough resource points available. Then there cannot be two or more enemy units near your unit. I'll have to check the manual again but that's the basics.

2. Yes, aircraft have to go to a friendly airfield. Plan ahead and watch the weather forecast.

3. Correct. If you move guns by transport you must wait for the next turn to unlimber and setup so to speak.
