Hi all -
I just purchased the game....and I have pretty much read the manual and played Coral Sea game AI/AI... I also attempted to play Coral Sea as the IJN.. .and lost many ships...
I guess I am impatient as this game seems pretty detailed (not complaining.. cuz I love it)
but.. how does one go about getting some training ?

Keep doing what you're doing and ask question on this forum.  There are lots of people here who can help.  The rest of us may learn a thing or two too from your questions.

Welcome! Dont feel bad. I have been playing for quite a while (original and AE), but I always have questions. Some are stupid (to me) and some actually many other players dont know the answers for. Just read the manual and if you have problems and/or questions, just post here.

Also, do what I did. Read through some of the posts already here. They may answer some questions you have.

just so much to digest ...

1st question)
is it possilbe to see what the orders the A/I instructs ?
(ie. figure the A/I is well programmed and that might lend a hand to my learning curve)
also..
and you can tell I havent made it thru every forum
but I seem to see additional scenarios in the AAR section
where is the website to download new user scenarios ??
