Have to say Im really, really satisfied with the gameplay on first view, plotted and ran 2 missions on Day 1 of Allied Long Campaign '43. The combat in the game seems to be really balanced and no more do we see tons of B-17 stragglers that drop to the ground like flies or fall as an easy prey for the axis fighters. Also im happy to see the KIA vs WIA/rescued ratio has gone vice versa and most of the axis pilots do get to see another day when they are shot down, which is realistic compared to the original game. I also like the new UI which is more user friendly and what comes to the eye candy, the graphics really please my eye. I also like the new music. Oh, and we have lots of new interesting target to hit, Yippee!

Only downside really, is the slowness which is killing me, have to try some of the tricks HS mentioned in his Slowness-thread.

Oh, and I'd like to see a similar editor for this as we had with the original game, im really not expecting it anytime soon but some day... fingers crossed, Harley [&o]

All in all, a job well done Matrix! Special thanks go to HS for his astonishing work on this game and participation on this forum.

Im really happy with the game too; Sweepers seems to work and respond to enemy fighters much better than they did in the past. then, I just love all this new freaking planes.. double engine italian fighters?! would u believe at that one?

Oh and watching my name in game as commander of a fighter squadron is priceless...
