Welcome to the start of another 23 year Highest Glory game, with:

There are three house rules being used!

1. There can be no DOW on a nation or it's territories, when occupied by the declaring party.
2. No insurrection.
3. No blockading with empty container fleets!

We expect a turn around time for each turn of 24 hours, with a max of 48 hours. We'll see how this goes with everybody!
Anything longer than this then we expect a notice to advise of the delay(just to be polite!).
I understand that there might be delays when people have vacations, funeral, marriages, ddivorces, etc, but please just keep people informed.
My expectation is that if you have a laptop please take it with you on vacation to try to keep things going.
Otherwise we are playing the game with bugs and all, and take nothing personal about other players dirty dealings, backstabbings, etc! After all this is a game of diplomacy, and intrigue! There will always be other games to redeem oneself!
Heaven forbid if you have to drop out, then please let the other players know, and give up you password so the game can be continued! Better yet, take a vacation but don't drop out!

A note, if you mean by "labeled it turn 1" that he renamed the file, this can not be done. It makes the files unusable.

I'm aware of this, having done it once ina a previous game. He did not rename the file, he just named his turn "1" in the message area of his email.

Austrian turn sent. Sorry for the initial delay. I will be more disciplined now after returning from hols and settling down. I must admit the delay comes from the Fact that I have been recommende Plants and Zombies and just couldn't get my hands off of it (baring family and other duties) Do not attempt to play that game ! I am warning you all ... )

For everyone I'm presently vacationing in Ecuador, visiting my wife's family. I do have access to internet so expect I will have no delays in getting my turns in within 24 hours. I'm also continuing to communicate with all players, and will respond to all messages as usual!

Also, I will be going on vacation Oct 8 to Oct 12. I will also have my laptop & should have internet access so it shouldn't be a problem maintaining my turns either.

Anyone else notice the treachery of Prussia so-called Austrian allies as they attempted to unilaterally leave Prussia at war with Prussia? We received no notice that our "allies" intended to try to end the war. These are not the friends Prussia needs.

UGGH! There is a CHANCE that I may NOT have internet access during my October 8 thru Oct 12 vacation.

If so, I will not be able to play turns. I can play any new turns received within the next 12 hours. I will post within the next 36 hours if I am still online. Otherwise, I will be out until Oct 12.
