I think I remember being able to change the orders of the ai team that fights on my side. Not my jocks, the others teams jocks. Usually it just says something about default orders. If it is possible how do I do it?

You can't change allied team orders. They are chosen by random.

Default orders : Advance as usual
Airdrop orders : Part of the allied team will airdrop, rest is advancing as usual
Guard orders : Move into vicinity of player team leader and fight with him/her.
Hide orders : Team is hiding behind hills waiting for the ememy
Snipe orders : Team is crouching in cover waiting for the enemy
Gather orders : Gather at average x/y coordinate of all allied titans.
