Hello,
is it possible to split a squadron to get it loaded to 2 xAKs /AVs?
It is realy bad, if a ship with a squardon is lost by SS, so i want to split my squadrons to 2 or more ships (best imo is 2 ships, 2 squadrons-> half of each sq. on both ships...) to prevent total loss of the unit.
By the way: is it possible to see, what was loaded on a lost ship ?
If a AP or AK is lost it is difficult for me to look what kind of unit or if only supplies are gone...

Unless a squadron is fragmented, I don't believe there is any way to get it onto two different ships.
I know of no way to see what was on a ship when it was lost. Other than keeping a running tab of what went where outside of the game.

ok, thanks
no, if i run a tab outside the game i need more time for the game as the war was in real time.
Maybe this should be patched. shouldn't be a great effort to get a link to the cargo of the ship in the info of lost ships.

You can put the unit being transported in the TF title. That way, if the TF is hit but not totally destroyed, you'll know what you lost.

Good question... hate losing an entire squadron to a single sub torpedo.
I'm thinking about dividing the squadron into its three fragments (if possible), then creating a single ship Air Transport TF, loading a fragment onto one ship... rinse and repeat for all three fragments.
Then combine the TF's into 1.
Maybe that'll work.

Never done a PBEM, but wanted to know if that would show up in any type of report/view for the PBEM opponent?

LOL, good point, you don't want the opponent getting some sort of report that says "D3a Val spots 'Okinawa Invasion TF' or 'Pacific Fleet HQ' " etc.

Nope. Your opponent cannot see your TFs titles ...

From the Information Screen / Aircraft Losses there's an option to view destroyed air units - that might be handy.
