I'm going to remove Slovakia from the game. Is there any danger in removing the Slovakian event file? I mean, does the system expect it to be there, or will it just pass it's empty place at turn end?

Apart from the fact that I hate the b---y thing? Nothing i particular. Slovakia is too weak for any good and just gets in the way all the time. It was also so heavily linked to Germany historically as not to need a mind of it's own.
 
I have relocated a third of the German production abroad - Scandinavia, Finland, Balkan, Rumania - to make these regions desirable in a strategic sense, and took most of Slovakia's production to achieve part of this. There it was useful.
