Teleporting Human Controlled Ships

Gents;

Had a bad one happen after a major surface engagement at Milne Bay. A large allied surface force composed of UK, RAN, and USN CAs and DDs took on an IJN force comprised of BBs on down. It was a great engagement! Both sides traded body blows but no big knockouts.

Start of the next turn the UK CAs are teleported to Capetown, the RAN to Aden, a US destroyer to SF. They show up in the new arrivals report of the OPS report and yep there they are.

Save and screen shot attached from before battle this post and the aftermath next post.

This was from scenario 6, patch one fresh game.

All the best!

Sonny;

I went back and replayed the turn a few times never could reproduce this one. The pre bug turn was the last one I completed one evening. After I had wrapped it up I did go peek at the IJN side then exited the game after swapping the AI side from Allies back to Japan. The next afternoon I ran the turn and the bug appeared. I had touched nothing since I had been over peeking. I am thinking that perhaps this may be related to the rare bug.

Four days after the bug my Surface TF engaged another IJN Surface TF and the escort TFs formed normally to get the damaged ships back to port.

Just my thoughts!

All the best!

Thanks for the info. So far I have not been able to reproduce the problem but I will try peeking and see if that will cause the problem.
