Hoo boy, I didn't know it was possible to be as much a newbie as I am now. Why? I can't even complete step 2 of the friggin first tutorial. When I load the HQ unit on the HT, I get an amazing plethora of four options: zoom in, zoom out, center on unit, or cancel load. What about "load"? Same thing when I tried to bombard something in another scenario. No I don't want to zoom, I want to make high explosive shells hit them in the faces. What's the secret?
Another thing, Can I slow down the VCR playback enough to read the text? I want to know why my scouts are exploding.

When loading equip/personnel on and off equip. Make sure they are in the same hex, use the left shift key in conjunction with your mouse to place them in the same hex. When loading make sure you select the item to be loaded first then when the screen you describe shows up click on the unit to be loaded on to. I hope this help clear it up a little.

In preferences, change the delay to a higher number.

You don't need no VCR playback to know why your scouts are exploding, it's obivous they ran into something bigger and meaner than they are.

Try hitting the F5 key to see the scrolled messages this will sometimes have a message telling you what happen.

Ooh I hate that! They bite the dust before the got a chance to radio back what they ran into!

The first time I played SPWAW I had the same problem.
In SP1 you could load inf into Ht from an adjacent square.
But in SPWAW it has to be the same square, at one point I was driving my transport backward and forwards to try and make it run out of movement in the same square *** the Infantry.
Then I had a brainwave, I'll try reading the manual DOH!

The only stupid question is the one you don't ask.
