165 Naval Support Where There is None

I have a base screen that shows 165 naval support when it actually has none. The base is Namatanai, 1 hex east of Rabaul. The only unit is an engineer unit, 6th JNAF AF unit. The unit has no naval support listed.

I know that there are naval support display issues where it shows none or less than there should be. This is an example of showing some where there should be none.

This is a PBEM. My password will be PM'd upon request. Thanks.

[edit] We're using the latest patch, 1.00.84 e from the start of the game, scenario 1.

Naval HQs are projecting their own Naval support up to HQs range with smaller amount as you are further.

Ok, thanks for the quick response. Is this working as designed?

I think so, but I am not sure how people unloading ships in one harbour could help another harbour in unloading their stuff... especially when they are separated by say 100 miles of water ... [:)]

Ok, thanks again. An unexpected benefit for now, I guess.

IIRC this is stated in the manual.

Naval support represents both the people and equipment assigned to a unit. For the purpose of unloading, it includes stevedores, lighters, DUKWs, barges, etc.
