Ottawa is going to illustrate how to win a Stanley cup using a solid scouting corps, deep farm club, stylish coaching, and a low budget. I've knocked on wood, so there!
You would think that CBC's Bob Hole and Harry Spiel would brush up on the names of other team's players besides the Toronto Maple Leafs, even if the Laffs are "Canada's Team." How arrogant and unprofessional.
Thank God or whoever for the playoffs...it takes ones mind off a game that is not on my hard drive.

Go Sharks! Congrats, your team won tonight (although I only caught the last 2 minutes and they almost gave it away). I'm an ex-Sharks season ticket holder and big Sharks fan (I moved just when they were starting to get good, my luck). Nolan better get going or the curtain will come down on the Sharks season. Here's to the Sharks and the Sens meeting in the final (I think the Sens have the better chance as beating both Colorado and Detroit will be very tough).
Hockey, California style.

Joel, thank God or whoever that you are not a Mighty Ducky. Man, that club is pathetic from it's name and logo to it's management.
I'm not sure how old ya are, or if you've been living there for ever, but did you ever catch a California Golden Seals game (or Oakland Seals as they were later called)?

No, I only moved to the Bay Area in 1979 and anyway I didn't discover hockey until 1994 when my wife and I bought in-line skates and I went to my first hockey game (a Sharks game) at age 36. I became an instant fan and started playing roller hockey. I still play roller hockey and I caught two Sharks games in Anaheim this year (one with Gary, he's also a latter day hockey fan). I hate to think that as a native Californian I almost missed out on the thrill of playing and watching hockey.
