Looking through my top pilots in German Eagle Day campaign I found one FW Charles A. C. Chetham of apparent German nationality, flying for Stab KG 53 in his... Hurricane I. Hmmm.

Credited with 5 kills, I looked into his unit and found it is a He 111H-4 unit but includes no less than 7 "German" pilots with English names. There are no Hurricanes in its TO&E and while Mr Chetham is present and also credited with 5 kills on the pilot menu, the unit details credit Stab KG 53 with no kills at all.

Ah so I'm not the only one.

Obviously Chalres Chetham is British.

The 1. Squadron nationality is mistakenly described as german in the OOB. So all pilots in this group will be
automatically germans.

no it is not

the squadron is British

so any pilot assigned to the squadron will be seen as British

not sure how you guys are getting them to show as German, or show up with the Germen's

but did notice that both of the ones showing so far were from 1 Squadron

the trick is to find out why

and for what ever, there are a lot of errors showing in the screen shot

HS, i agree. The first line (ID 1) in the group-editor was an old one from the
BTR 1943 Campaign. 1 Squadron is British. But perhaps the game has also old values in memory,
so 1 Squadon is german? [&:]

from the old game, it was very touchy, about getting the buffers cleaned out, when reloading the game, in the old days, we were always told to totally exit the game, before doing a reload, new start, as data could still be in the buffers (windows issues)

so, this could be a case of a BTR game opened, then exited and going right into a BoB game/BoB save, and some data getting trapped

as I said, it is odd, that both of the pilots are from 1 Squadron

in all of my games, I have never seen this happen, and I am a stickler for checking my pilots lists, maybe not every turn, but in most of them

BTR, slot 1 is Stab/JG 1, in BoB slot 1 is 1 Squadron
