Last month I bought a new system which includes a widescreen monitor with a native resolution of 1680 X 1050. I would like to clarify whether this game has this resolution option. If not, it is my understanding that displays at a lower resolution will not look very good on my monitor. Thanks.

You can run it in windowed mode, thus keep the sharpness of the graphics. This is what I do, instead of running it in full screen mode.

1024x78 in windowed mode on a 1680x1050 monitor will be quite small. Another option is to set your graphics card to maintain aspect ratio and it will use the middle of the screen and be in the correct aspect ratio. This causes some interpolation so not as sharp as windowed mode but much larger image area and not as blurry and distorted like if you stretched it to use full screen. I'm thinking of buying this game too but I am fortunate enough to have a 2nd computer setup in my bedroom that is connected to ye olde 19" 4:3 CRT monitor.
