Defensive Fire Realistic Losses

Here's how I have reduced losses from B-17/B-24's to an historical level. I know it looks extreme but I have experimented with all the values & numbers between stock and this.
1. Change all bomber weapons to M2 .50 cal, no .50 Browning MGs. The .50 Browning MG's a reserved for use by fighters.
2. Edit the range to 2, effect to 1, penetration to 1, and most importantly reduce the accuracy to 1.
Because there are so many bomber guns firing, changing the values to anything "normal" in comparison to other weapons had no real effect. No doubt that some "hits" registered by the program create automatic destroyed results.
Numerous AI vs AI tests on a 450 plane unescorted deep penetration raid to Leipzig set in Feb 1944 with 500-600 German sorties result in between 6-20 German planes shot down by the bombers with the most common result being in the range 10-13.
Note I am not concerned with impact on "play balance" - only concerned with creating more historical results.
(Using Deckard777's effectiveness mod during these tests apart from the bomber gun edit result in 30-55 bombers destroyed, with the bell curve skewed to the mid-30's which is a bit low - but that can attributed to the less than optimal AI defensive reaction as I have done better nearly doubling those losses to the 40-90 range)
