27 bucks

Since it's been years since release, how about decreasing the price to something to suit that. Like 10 bucks.

Thing is, I moved from Finland to Sweden, and then to Ireland, and don't have my original CD with me anymore, and I am not going to pay 27 bucks to buy the game anew years after it's release.

Matrix doesn't do that.

Which is quite stupid of them...well, I guess I'll spend the money on something else and see if I can get my copy some other source. Can I download it if I have the code?

If you have a real, valid code, I would contact Matrix directly, since the CD version includes the rights to a download.
Thing is, you probably have long passed the month or so for the normal download.
Contact them directly, or risk them never seeing the post.
Cheers !

I've ran into this in the past with computer crashes. If you registered the game with matrix, you can get your serial number from the support page I think (I'll have to look again). Anyway, I'd head over to the support area and post there. You'll probably need the CC you used so they can research it if you bought it directly from them. Hope this helps.

*shrug*
On the one hand I agree, as there are many a games on here that I would buy if they were under the magical $20 price point; over that, I feel, is just too much to spend on a game that I'm not sure I'll like.

On the other hand, Matrix must feel that they make more money through less sales leaving the price at it's initial price point.

Which would really work better for them...I don't know.

I do, I would buy a few other games as well if they'd be a bit cheaper.

Might have to buy TOAW3 anyways, getting the itch...but only because Ralph promised me a place in TOAW4 beta test, otherwise I'd just wait for that.

You still remember that Ralph? Of course you do, how could you forget.

For the record, as would I.
