Airport wit +50 damage

Hi all.
Sorry for my english , i am a spanish fan.
In the manual i read that the in airpots with more of 50 of damage, the aircrafts cannot take off, but in my game i see that they take off with more of 80 of damage, Why?

could be for a couple of reasons
bad intel/recon, what you think, may not be what you got
repair, runways repair fast
there are 3 types of damage at a Airfield
(runway is almost worthless, other then in the short term, Comm and Service is what you really want to damage, but much HARDer to do then runway)
(so, you could have 80-20-20 damage at a target airfield, as the enemy you will see 100/99, but very soon, the runway will be repaired, you will still see the 20-20 damage, and maybe some of the runway damage as being there)

Is it wrong of me to find humor in the thought of this poor Spanish speaker trying to translate "Sarge" back into his language?
Shoot, I've been reading him for years and still haven't figured out how to do it in American!

Just put in into an online translator to Spanish and then back again to see how it would have read.
