The ai? Is it very challenging? How many difficulty levels are there? What level do you play on? Does anyone play on the hardest difficulty and beat the ai easily? Is it predictable like most? How many different nations can you play? On a scale of 1 to 9 what would you rate the ai?
Also I need more feedback than "I love this game" that is really getting old. Thank you..

I'll answer some.
How many different nations can you play?
You can play as any country or any combination of countries which were existing at the beginning of a campaign.
How many difficulty levels are there?
You can set a difficulty level for each country controlled by human or AI.

How many difficulty levels are there?

Technically the most accurate answerer here should be: the number of countries in a scenario raised to the fifth power.

I disagree. If you play a somewhat historical game, as in current solo AAR, the AI country has enough time to get some decent production, war doctrine level, troop movements, etc., and can put up a good fight. I haven't even tried giving the AI +% on production.

Changing the Difficulty settings prior to starting a game will find the AI quite a bit more challenging.

Change Germany, Italy, USA and USSR to "Hard" (-25% PP).

Change France to "Easy" (+50% PP).

Leave Great Britain as "Normal".

Also, if you like, change the minor countries to "Easy" as well.

AI gave me a good challenge on first 1939 campaign I played, I did attack Vichy France in 1940 and found myself hardly pressed in Egypt because the germans and italians attacked me from Syria. I was playing UK. Standard AI

On the second campaign, a 1941's one as UK/USA. Not very challenging except bloody battles in Mediterranean. It's sept '42, the allies control Africa, Sicily and have taken Tarento in Italy. In France Paris is liberated, and the allies are moving towards Belgium and the Siegfried line in Germany already. I have met panzer corps but forced them either to flee or managed to encircle and destroy them. No organized counterattack came from Axis yet. Standard AI.

USSR is AI controlled and had a really good defense though.

Some things are bugging me, no Free France liberation event upon Paris liberation. No Vichy collapse either, it is still neutral.

Sure? I would guess that it is 5 raised to the number of countries. [&:]

The ai? Is it very challenging?

The AI is good at some things and bad at others just like all complicated strategy games. It's really good at local attacks, using flanking units, picking off the weak, and creating breakthroughs. However, it does expose valuable armor units to encirclement by shoving them elbow deep into your hinterlands. Also, it sometimes suffers from siege amnesia, where it will encircle a city, make an attack or two, then move the sieging units to the front, leaving the city untaken (I usually just disband the garrison then to be "fair").

Try playing the 1941 scenario as the Soviets and give Germany, Italy, Rumania, Hungary, and Bulgaria the Easy +50% bonus.

As the Germans I was past Moscow in Aug 1940 in my first game against the AI when I stoped. The AI is a great learning tool but, one must find an PBEM player to play the game with any real scene challenge.
