is the online store brolen?

I tried several times to buy the game tonight - message "no error found" and transaction does not go though.

Seems to me that the ordering system is needlessly complicated. Last night I had to call VISA 3 times before I could get my card authenticated and I had to restart the process more than a half dozen times. [:@]
For example, every time you leave the order screen, the state defaults to Ak (for me in Canada it is non-US), then I get a message that the location in the basket page does not match the orders page, then I have to enter my credit card number twice, once for the orders page and once in the authentication page, and every time I go back to the orders page, my password and credit card number have been erased.[:-]
And I have a half-dozen Matrix games bought by email, in addition to uncontable others; why canèt the orders page remember my information from the previous time? (It does in a way, since when I start typing a line, I get options for completing it).[8|]
Maybe I am just stupid, but every time I order a game from matrix, it takes a half-hour or more to ge the order straight. I almost gave up last night, only an itch to play Panzer General again k,ept me going [:D]...Maybe you should have an option to use Steam (which I have on my system for games like those of Paradox), which is a breeze to use once you have gone through it the first time. [:'(]

Hm, have you used this card with our store in the past? Normally, if a card needs authentication before the store will accept it, that only needs to be done once and then it should work fine for future orders. The reason for this is usually that the bank does not respond with the info the store expects, though I am not well versed on the ins and outs of the credit card system.

That does sound annoying. I'll see if I have the same issues here. When we originally tested the store page for international customers, I don't recall going through anything like that. What browser are you using?

Not sure as I did not actually code the store or the order page, but if there's something we can do to improve it we will. In general though, we don't store your info as a security matter.

That is definitely not our intention and many other customers report an easy ordering process. I will take another look at ordering from Canada and see if there's something we need to streamline there. A service like Steam is easier partly because they install software on your system and store all your full contact and payment info on their servers. That's not something we want to do, to be honest, as we would not appreciate it ourselves.
Are you aware that you can also call the store by phone and place an order that way?

Others - thanks for responding too.
I gave up on the online store this time and called DigitalRivers directly and purchased the game via telephone from SINGAPORE. But it took so long over the telephone.
