Is there a way to make an annotation in a Scenario .xml file that won't cause problems?

I'd like to be able to put a comment in the file referring to veriosn number rather than in the scenario name itself (so that older versions will be overwritten and not cause dduplicates).

There may be other things that would be good to document as well.
