I have read the other threads on the game shutting off...

I have been playing the grand campaign as the Germans. On day 6, in the Trois Ponts map, when I hit next off the main map, the game cancels and kick me out. I can run any other campaign or user scenario just fine...it just seems to be the saved game. I have played on this map before.

All of my 3d settings are off, so it can't be that, and I am running the .07 patch.

Any thoughts?

When you are on the strat map click on the twoo BG's on Trois Ponts.

What do you see, are they fielding units?

Yes, both sides are fielding units. I can click in the units themselves as well and do various things such as click on the weapong for the sound effects, however if I hit next, the application kicks me out.

These two battlegroups have been fighting on this map for several turns now.

Try and remove each of your active teams.

So far we can't find any errors.

The game seems to play through fine.

So I started a new grand campaign, and believe it or not, the same thing is happening, but slightly different. I get to Day 7, turn 1, and the battlegroups are KG Peiper and 14th Cav Group (same as before). The 14th Cav group only has 9 units left, similar to what happened before; the difference we are on a different map than before...now we are on La Gleize. Could the issue be with the BG having only a few units left?

I can play through on this GC2 as well.

Same problem here.

I'm running version 4.50.07b of the game.
Playing as the Germans 190/62nd Volks against the American 14th Armored Calvary.
On day 9, turn 2 on the Beho map.

The 14th Armored BG is down to 12 units with 25% ammo and 25% fuel.

Maybe the problem lies with the the BG itself?

I guess I will post again. Same deal, different units. A BG about to be destroyed and the game crashes before I can play. I have successfully destroyed other BGs in this GC setting. I'm sure you are looking hard into this, but at what point am I supposed to get angry about this? $50 for me to get close to winning only to have the game crash?

The problem is known and fixable... as I can play through on your saves.

No word on when the fix will be made available though.
