Hello,

Re-installed HCE today and a number of message windows are not displaying properly. Such as staff messages, formation editor, action windows for attacks, etc.

I've updated to build 2008.044. Vista64, Nvidia display, 1680x1050 res.

I *think* that's related to the Windows setting for the size of the text for on-screen icons --- large text size = problems in Harpoon. I know this was a common discussion topic a while back on HarpGamer, but I can't find the thread(s) to link to, on a quick check. Sorry I can't be more helpful, hopefully Tony or Brad will check in with the answer soon.

Warhorse64 - thanks for the clue.  I changed the text size from 120 to the default 96 and this corrected the problem.

Tony wanders by, got too busy yesterday and forgot to visit this thread! If you want to play with large fonts, close the game, then grab and run http://harpgamer.com/harpforum/index.ph ... owfile=228 . Turn your large fonts back on, then start the game, the larger text should then fit. As Warhorse says though, 96dpi will keep the game happiest.
