In Game Ammo Resupply

One annoying thing is when teams run out of ammo. Of course, that is real war for you. however, I'm wondering, how realistic would it be to have a company HQ with extra ammo in the game where teams can go and replenish ammo when they run out. Maybe have an ammo truck or jeep. I'm just wondering if that would be realistic for the game? Would it ruin things or would it not be reflective of real world conditions on the modern battlefield? Just curious what others think of the idea.

Also I was thinking in CC Modern Tactics, when a team boards their IFV they should be able to restock on small arms ammo I would think.

If anything, I think that units don't run out of ammo often enough. Of course we play 20 min battles.

the good thing with the windowed aspect of tLD is the ability to set time to unlimited start playing and minimise where you want.  I find myself playing a lot more cautiously as ammo has to last whereas a 15 minute engagement you can generally play as expansively as a drunken (please select and insert whatever ethnic sub group you wish here[;)])
