I put this on the regular forum page before I realised I should post here. I too am having a crashing problem. It occurs right at the UPGRADE SHIPS part of the turn. I see a few other people have had the problem. Am I seeing there is a hotfix for this?

I am playing the Grand Campaign. I use a Pentium 4 Windows XP Home. I am playing version 1.0.2.1094.

The developers will likely ask for a save to be posted. You can zip the pws file that crashes and attach it to the post.

Here is a zip of the file I believe you need.

Tried a few little experiments tonight but they all ended the same. Even in a two day game at the end of the first day when it gets to UPGRADING SHIPS it crashes. Hope this helps. Any suggestions?

Attached is the save of the next turn.

The issue is related to the upgrade of the Chitose and Chiyoda ships by the AI. There is an issue with how they are changing out the organic groups.
Will be fixed in official release.
