one thing which has always raged me about CC in general is how easily guys in trenches get gunned down. I mean if you're on your stomach in a trench (ambush mode), nothing should be able to harm you besides mortar/arty shells and grenades, right? yet tanks gun down guys in trenches with ease, using main gun and MGs. I mean if the tank had height on the trench and was shooting down into it i would understand, but this happens even if the trench is way above the tank on a hill. this seems physically impossible. has anyone ever tried to mod this out?

ive been playing winter war mod and im being reminded how much it rages me. on maps with russian tanks i have to dig trenches on the hill behind the peak so im out of the way of uber tank gun fire, otherwise the tanks will just blast all the trenches up on the hill to pieces before the infantry come in, without letting me get a shot off
