This is great to be able to look at them all at a glance, now I seen what a star castle looks like.

if anyone wants to help: I couldn't parse in the weapon range because they are not in the xml files.
they are in the ingame unit info, though, so if anyone could enter them manually ...

damn.... well, too late. about as much work to parse it now as just typing it per hand. i think I'll just make a seperate page for weapon types.

Included more weapon stats in the ship description and prettyfied it.

Where are the defensive ratings of ships?  Do they use hit points and have armor ratings?  What about shields?

hmm ... looks like i have to make the defense rating appear bigger.

But can you explain how the rates are working.
Lets say you have a defence rating 100 and you want to attack that ship do you need 3-4 hits with a missile when your ship has a 30 rating for missiles for ship to ship and  attack? And with the interval of 15 seconds how will that relate to shield repair for the defense 100 ship rating.In other words how is calculation going on in relation to the statics. All the other numbers are clear to me.

Defense was never made clear. I don't think there are HPs per se, but shields that get depleted according to some unknown formula. When the shield collapses, the ship is toast.
I guess it's one of those things that's best not to know, as long as it seems to be working reasonably well. [;)]

All the detailed combat mechanics are in the non-yet-existent full manual [X(] [:D]

If anyone happens to find out the exact combat mechanisms then I just know the perfect place to make that knowledge public....
