Concerning the end date for a device,
if it says 01-44 does that mean that this device won´t be build anymore on January 1st 1944 or on January 31st 1944?
It won´t be build but it is still in the game if present in any LCU until destroyed, doesn´t it?

"1-44" means that production ends at the end of January 44. The on-map devices don't just disappear, obviously; neither do airplanes that aren't produced any more.
