Shattered in '43

I've been trying to play the '43 scenario lately to gain some late war perspective and both West and SUD fronts keep shattering after turn 1. I've tried a variety of replacement lvls, leaving them at 50, etc. to no avail. The one game I had going and then mistakenly saved over in this campaign was going great as I had knocked out 2 different Soviet HQ's and had cut off 6 armies from supply around Kursk. Please advise. In all circumstaces, I am moving quite alot of reinforcements from OKW, Center AG, etc to the front line HQ's.

I mean OKH, not OKW as a source for troop reinforcement...

The south front will shatter in 1943 no matter what you do (unless you are quite lucky). If you check it at the start, you will get a message that the position is untenable. Events will continue as being likely until the front is defending mainland Italy. The west front is different and in general should hold out, but can have an event also. It is a little weaker than I would like and I will take a look at beefing it up. However, remember that events are not a disaster as they will happen sooner or later. they are something you must deal with.

Rick,
Thanks for the info. I assumed the SUD front would hold only a little longer, but was quite surprised about the West. In my somewhat novice opinion, I would encourage a little beefing up of the West perhaps contingent with leaving enough rail points at a turn's end to theoretically provide the West with replacement/reinforcements/mobilization.
