Armada 2526 UI Improvments

When you go to build a new lab and roll of a research building, the pop-up should tell you how many of that type you have built and the number of points you are receiving from those buildings.

We should have a way to lock the sliders on the research screen.

I would like to see the number of research point coming from specialized labs and general labs displayed on the research screen.

On the Finance Summary screen I would like to see the Finance and Diplomacy income broken down to show where the money is coming from. This would help a lot in determining who to make a defense alliance with and which alliances to honor when the balloon goes up.

On diplomacy screens where the various races are listed I would like to see them colored coded to show who is friend and who is foe. Just like on the strategic map.

On the screen where you select the ships to move you should display the ship’s MPs so the player can select ships based on speed.

On the resolve battle screen you should display the name of the planet’s or fleet’s owner. Also I would like to be able to click on the enemy fleet to see the type of ships in the fleet. A lot of time I think I’m getting into a huge battle so I pick “Fight” only to find the enemy consist of transports. It could be based on scanner level.

Would be nice in the financial screen to have total expenses broken down into total upkeep costs and total build costs so that it's easier to see whether you have the income to cover upkeep costs.

The details of the fleets can already be displayed by clicking on the arrow/symbol in front of "Attack Enemy Colony".

The map should center and select the planet when you click on its name on this screen. I use the arrows to go from one planet to teh next it it does not center, it should auto center.

We need the ability to sort our own colonies by name in alphabetical order. It would be nice to be able to access a list of known unoccupied worlds which we could sort by various means, such as environment, mineral wealth, etc.

This display needs a button to open up the colony view so a player can adjust taxes without having to close this pop-up and then clicking on the planet.

I would like to be able to r-click on these icons to be given the option to mass deleted all specialized research facilities for that area of research. This would be used when you have researched everything in that tec branch and no longer need the specialized facilities.

Well, this last suggestion mostly shows an uncomplete game feature, there should *always* be stg to research, even if it just give generic bonuses, like the "future" techs in MoO2. Seems weird to me that a civ can say "oh, we have found everything findable in this field, let's stop research" ! [X(]

There are some good suggestions here. I'll be continuing to improve the UI in future patches. Trade especially needs to be broken down some more. Sometimes you're economy is so dependent on trade with another player, you can't afford to fight them.

This is the suggestion I came in here to post, but you already did it. There is no way to center on the planet you are viewing as you scroll through your planet list. [&:] [:@]

There are plenty of good suggestions here, now what's the priorities ? [:D]
For me it woul dbe :
- Give us a "colonizable systems" list
- Improve map readability, so that the player would have more information at a glance : planet owner (color or flag), fleets in orbit (currently the icon is soooo tiiiiny)...

How about a hot key to super size the Icon that shows player ownership.
