Real time game of WitP

Its December 7, 2009 and its been 68 years since the real war with Japan. I have decided to play a real time game of War in the Pacific. I will play one game turn (1 game day) for every actual day of real time beggining Dec 7 2009. This should prove to be very interesting to say the least. I am playing the Allies. The time is 0530 hrs, Dec 7, the Japanese task force swings hard to port into the wind....

one turn a day ... hmmm ... sure you won't force the pace at some stage ? Once you're hooked and all that. Looks like bad weather coming your way for a bit [;)]

[:)] I wanna get a real feel for the passage of time vs accomplishments, the buildup time it took to launch offensives in real time and what this does to my planning and execution of missions. [8D] I can always play a, "speedy," game if I get the urge (and I often do get the urge, like an itch).
The temp is dropping fast. Care to tilt the earth back so we can get a little heat? [;)]
