Just a passing thought-I thought that the Bf-109 was changed to Me-109 in mid 1942. also was the hyphen used?

no, the 109-110 stayed the same (as did any of the Bf models) later after the Factory became Me, any new designs, got the ME

so, it would be Bf 110, and Me 210/410 and so on

(of course, most of the Me stuff, comes from the Allies, who didn't know the details, just as they didn't know how the JP plane naming system went)

Mtt wanted the Bf 109/110 to become Me 109/110 but the Luftwaffe high command denied this change. Mtt used "Me" for several export models though.
