hello all - just a noobish question
Is it normal that after upgrading my pbem game from patch 1 to patch 2 I get a "pwhex data differs. continue Y/N" message while loading the save (before the player password)? the sticky doesn't mention this

PS: some more info - I'm the Axis player. I processed the turn with patch 1, then saved, quit, patched and am now trying to open the (japanese turn) save with patch 2. I am trying to open the savefile on a different computer than the one I processed the turn on, I copied the whole "save" directory to the "new" computer

This sticky gives you the directions to update properly. I suspect your foe upgraded out of order.

i don't think so, an error on my side is far more likely
anyway, can you confirm that on a proper update procedure I shouldn't be getting that message on step 6? (i mean step 6 in the sticky)

i cant help there, i am playing allies. but if all is correct then you should not get the message.

The patch made some minor changes to the map. That makes the old and new pwhex files different.
