Just when you thought it was safe. A scenario set specially designed to give Major Mike fits. [;)]
Da Babes has extensive expansion of both Allied and Japanese naval OOBs. Also has some tweaks to various load costs that we hope will make things play smoother; not necessarily easier or harder, just smoother.
Can find Da Babes Lite on RogueUSMC's website. Two scenarios, Dec. 7 start (AEScen026) and Dec. 8 start (AEScen027). Also some necessary additional Ship Art (only about 8 or so Allied and 5 or so Japanese).
In the Goodies section under What's New and Scenarios.

Enjoy.

Been waiting for this for a long time. Thanks to John and Don (and whoever else had a hand in it)! [:)]

ditto Mikes reply , im looking forward to trying it out once i get my head round vanilla AE 1st . WitP was about a year before i got japanese production sorted and thanks to the likes of Mike and yourself + others there is some great advice elsewhere. I seem to spend rather a large amount of time reading forums since AE release and not actually playing the GC enough [;)]

What is this scenario? What is different than stock? I am playing December 8th quiet china right now, but I wonder if I would prefer this new December 8th da babes instead.
This scenario has more ship types? Is the AI any different?

Actually, Da Babes Lite is, as much as we could possibly make it, vanilla AE. It’s not really a “mod”; there’s no what if’s, no real change in scope – just a change in scale, perhaps, but not really that much (maybe 8% more new stuff).
Don Bowen and I had some similar, and overlapping, ideas about the nature and extent of Naval and Amphibious operations that we thought could be incorporated into the general game system. The tweaks for the Lite version are subtle, but do give a slightly different “feel” to game operations. There’s lots more individual, historical, ships, and lots more happening at the teensy weensy base level (yard oilers, and net tenders and floating drydocks, and such) that the AI can take care of, but a thoughtful player can judiciously use to do a real nasty on the bad guys (and it works for both sides).
There’s tweaks in load costs for LCUs (to make a MarDiv fit correctly on a TransDiv, for example) and tweaks in certain rearm costs to give NavSup a rationally uniform bonus across weapon systems. Just a lot of tweaks to interface stuff.
No changes to production system, bases, none of the infrastructure things. Purely operational.

Will this scenario be 100 percent compatable with each new patch that comes out in the future?

Since this is not an "official" scenario set, we cannot guarantee that.
Since we are AE Team members, we have a good window on what's coming down the pike.
Any CODE patches will apply normally.
This scenario set only modifies DATA.
The only things that will effect these scenarios are 1) data, and 2) AI files.
Since we write the data, that won't be much of a problem. And we may choose not to use patch data.
Since the scenarios are outside the 001 - 025 window, they will not update automatically.
Updating AI files is a no-brainer. All it takes is a few clicks.

I have not had time to go into much depth... but ARDs increased from 1 to 3, and AGs from 5 to 12,a nd 2 more classes of small xAKLs that can be converted to PBs in '43... as John said, its details that will make things flow smoother... or so I think.
Will do a Da Babes Lite ARR vs the AI, and post my thoughts there.

Did you add any coding what-so-ever to help prevent me from making lots of stupid mistakes ?

Being of the 'stupid mistakes' brigade as well, I think I can safely surmise that, as the AI still makes stupid mistakes, WE are guaranteed to, too! [:D]
Oh and thanks for the effort guys, I'll be downloading this as well.
