Da Babe Hints for Kitakami

Hesitant about putting this in the AAR thread because don’t want it to get sidetracked. But we did a few things that might effect your planning.
In stock, one could convert Kiso’s to ACM, but not in Da Babes. So to compensate, we increased mine production by about 50%. It’s not a whole lot, but hope it will be better. Anyway, something to think about.
Also reduced the rearm costs of Torp, DC, Mine weapons, on a sliding scale. The cheap ones will still cost about the same, but the expensive ones get to 25% off (LLs go from 2160 to 1620 fx).
Have room to move somewhat on both these things. Will be watching your AAR closely. Thanks for doing it.

John, I haven't looked closely at the Kitakami, but am wondering. Are we still stuck with 20 torp volleys (both in stock and Da Babes)?

Thanks for the hints!
The Kiso class I had already looked at, and that forced my hand with the To'su class: all To'su hulls converted to ACMs.
The rearming costs, along with the additional AGs is MUCH appreciated.

Kitakami, just curious as to why you convert the To'sos to ACMs. I prefer to use them as PBs because of their 12 kt speed vs. the Kiso's 11 kt speed.

Don't worry, we all have those once in a while. One of my ideas is to use APDs as escorts. They will take up the role of fast convoy escort in the most critical convoys. I know that APDs are needed for other roles, but the Momi class at least will supplement PBs. Other will do the same whenever possible.
One thing that this "mod" has done is to make me think about Momi hulls as "big". You have to chuckle at that one
