I'm not sure if this could be done, but I would love to see a scenario where axis targets start off with no damage to indrusty or cities. No historical reasoning for this; it's just something I've thought would be interesting ever since owning the my first copy of the game.

well, depends

one, it would need to be a different data file (keep the base and this one away from each other)(to be honest, would be two files, the L and the V)

should the score remain the same, or should the damage not be counted as being done ?

for BTR, that is going to put the Allies about 49,000 points SD behind, not to mention the Terror points ? (ahh, that is tricky, as it is not as straightforward as it looks, I understand what I need to do, but explaining it does not follow as easily)

(I can't do anything about AS score, that option wasn't added)

doable, but very mind numbing, if there is a strong enough wish for it, I could do it (work out what you really want ?)

okay, trying to explain

I could take the damage to the sites out, but level out the damage, so turn one, the SD and TE score would be 0, AS I can't touch

(which, got to remember, the game also, will do some random damage when the first turn starts, so, even if I 0 out the score, it will not be totally 0 when the first turn shows up)

I think, I would also suggest that Auto Victory be turned off, even at 0, the Allies are going to be behind the 8 ball, hassle there is, the Ge player can not really win, other then a 700 turn game (time runs out) if the auto Vic is turned off ????

sorry it took me so long to get back - christmas duties of a daddy.

Basically what gave me the idea was that it would be neat to watch how the game would unfold if the player had to start from scratch. I really had it in mind that it would be an allies-only game, since it would be a bit of a bump in favor of the axis. I originally had thought of adapting the 700 turn campaign, but now that I've played the others, I think I prefer the 500 turn campaign - probably jet age, since that's yet another axis bump, therefore allied challenge.

btw, how have you been sarge?
